These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TacticsChess (the "Service") operated by Tripster LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
TacticsChess provides chess puzzles and training tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must verify your email address before signing in. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by automated means without permission, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate any law.
Premium features may be offered as a recurring monthly subscription billed through Square. By subscribing, you authorize us, via Square, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically each month; you may cancel at any time and your premium access will continue until the end of the current paid period. Because a free trial lets you evaluate the Service before any charge, subscription payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges; your premium access continues until the end of the current paid period. This does not affect any refund rights you may have under applicable law.
The Service and its content are owned by us or our licensors. Certain "Classic" chess piece images are sourced from greenchess.net and Wikipedia and are licensed under CC BY-SA; they remain the property of their respective authors and are used under that license.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
